My husband and I spent a week at this hotel. The staff was very welcoming and friendly from the moment we walked in. The room was beautiful and clean with a lovely view of the streets of Rome. The rooftop was beautiful with a view of the Colosseum while eating breakfast or having a cappuccino. The bar in the lobby was also very nice with a very nice bartender who was quite friendly and welcoming. The front staff was so helpful to assist us in arranging tours, rides and suggestions on where to eat. They answered all of our questions with grace. They have an elevator and room service as well. We felt very safe. The hotel is in a lovely quiet neighborhood. Although just a few streets away is all the food you could imagine and the Colosseum We would stay there over and over. Hope to return soon.

This is a very nice hotel well situated close to restaurants & bars. The hotel has a very nice roof top bar/restaurant and a breakfast terrace. The staff are wonderful. Do not trust the staff for bag keeping services after check-out

The hotel was exceptionally clean and on a good location. Service was good up until......When the staff said that they do "baggage storage service " after check out, I trusted them to leave the two carriers and two backpacks. But I felt uncertain if I was able to retrieve the bags okay, so I took a video footage of them putting the labels on my baggage. When I asked for anything to claim for the baggage, they said "No, just go by your room number". I felt not secure but because there were 3 staff taking care of my bags, I left the hotel, saying "OK Thank you. I will go now". I came back in 4 hours and asked for my baggage, the same staff said I was given a ticket to claim the bags I left them with. And they said they wouldn't be able to find my bags. The staff who were very friendly and certain that I could get the bags back with " just the number" in the morning, now turned cold and very adamant in asking for the ticket. The main staff, a lady who kindly looked after us for the night and next morning at the concierge, became very stern and difficult. I showed her the video footage I had on my phone, which i took in case I needed it. She saw the whole clip, containing exactly what I described to her of what happened earlier verbally. By then she pretended that she believed me that I left the bags with no ticket. Then they grabbed and returned my bags within 3 seconds from behind their storage door. They knew where they were. I have no idea why they did such a nonsense, when they all knew from the beginning that I left my bags without the ticket. I felt very upset and been lied to. What a service! It's not fun to be joked around with carriers and backpacks 2 hours before I had to fly to London

Elegant, peaceful and conveniently situated

The hotel has an elegant feel and we found it calm and peaceful. Staff were welcoming and helpful. We booked a premier room which was spacious and comfortable and had everything we needed (but if you need complete darkness my advice would be to bring an eye mask as there were no blackout curtains). Windows could be opened and the air conditioning was effective. On arrival we were greeted with complimentary bottle of prosecco, which was a lovely touch. Breakfasts on the rooftop terrace were a delight. We chose this hotel primarily for proximity to the Parco Archaeologico del Colosseo. It is on a quiet street but just a few minutes away from the Colosseum, with plenty of places to eat and a small supermarket nearby. It is also close to metro, bus and tram stops and within walking distance of the main places to visit in the city centre, so very conveniently situated. Prior to our visit my partner had emailed the hotel and happened to mention that it was my birthday during our stay, and on the day another complimentary bottle of prosecco duly arrived, which was very kind. Overall this hotel did not just meet, but exceeded our hopes and expectations, and was a great choice for us.

Hotel was ideally situated for exploring the city of Rome, within easy walking dis range of the main sites. The rooms were luxurious and maintained to a high standard, the beds extremely comfortable. The staff were all extremely helpful and informative. The breakfast offers a large selection of foods and was idyllic situated on the roof top with views of the Colosseum. There are many restaurants situated around the hotel but the food in the hotel’s restaurant was excellent, it was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented again on the roof terrace, it was definitely the best meal we had in Rome. Thoroughly recommend to stay whether you are a family, couple or on business.
